Unsuccessful trip to the Cotter

On Saturday Graham and I trekked out to the Cotter mid afternoon. It was an absolutely gorgeous Autumn day and perfect for a quick fish. While the trout failed to oblige, it was a wonderful afternoon on the water, despite wet wading in water that would make your testicles clamor to get back in your body if you happened to go that deep. In the end the cold water was the thing that stopped us fishing longer, once you can’t feel your feet, its probably time to go home…

While we didn’t catch any fish, Graham had a few good follows and I raised one fish that had a go at my little dry fly on the tenkara. I’ll leave you with a few photos. Till next time, good luck on the water!
